GPU Restock Alerts That Actually Work

You have been building or upgrading a PC and the one component holding everything up is the graphics card. The RTX 5080 or whatever the current flagship is. MSRP is reasonable. The problem is you cannot buy it at MSRP because it sells out within literal seconds of restocking.

You have joined the subreddits. You follow the stock tracking accounts. You have notifications turned on for every platform that claims to track GPU inventory. And yet, every single time, you find out about a drop after it is over. The lag between "stock appears on retailer page" and "someone posts about it online" is long enough for the entire allocation to vanish.

The aftermarket is painful. Scalpers mark up GPUs by hundreds of dollars. You could pay the premium and move on with your life, but the principle of it bothers you. These cards have an MSRP for a reason. You should be able to buy one at that price if you are willing to be patient and fast.

The problem is not patience. You have been patient for months. The problem is speed of information. You are getting your restock alerts through a chain of middlemen: retailer drops stock, someone notices, they post to Discord or Twitter, that post gets amplified, and finally it reaches you. By that point the window is closed.
